- Full load efficiency including also fan consumption (EER)

The efficiency calculation takes into account not only the consumption for cooling/heating production, but also the energy consumption for power transmission. In many installations, still efficient units are connected to fixed speed pumps running all the time, even when the demand for cooling/heating is very low. In addition to this, in most cases, the pumps are oversized according to the real need, so they have more consumption than necessary, even when the unit is fully loaded, in other words, the pumps waste energy and money when they do not adapt their speed to demand.
